Federico Zappino is one of the most important philosophers of queer theory in Italy. They have translated works by Judith Butler, Eve Kosofsky Sedgwick and Monique Wittig into Italian, and their ideas are at the center of the theoretical-political debate, not only national. Among their latest works, Il genere tra neoliberismo e neofondamentalismo (2016) and Comunismo queer (2019), translated into other languages.
