Water Power_Teardrops is an audiovisual synaesthetic art project that investigates the emotions related to the energetic power of water and through the evocation of sounds and images tends to stimulate a particular agglomeration of nerve nuclei that is located in the innermost part of both temporal lobes of the brain: the amygdala.
The amygdala has several functions: it contributes to the limbic system; plays a key role in the formation and memorization of memories associated with emotional events; it is responsible for the so-called conditioning of fear; participates in the elaboration of emotional states such as fear, anger, happiness, sadness, aggression, etc .; finally, it is involved in excitement and decision making.

Gerardo Marmo aka Utopotronik (Potenza, 1964), studied architecture at the "La Sapienza" University of Rome. He attends the Masters in "Industrial Design and Management" at the Milan Polytechnic and "Urban Furniture" at the "La Sapienza" University of Rome. He lives and works in Rome. He deals with Visual art, cross-media, interaction design and sound design, his researches are directed towards advanced technologies of nomadic thinking in the fields of architecture, music and cinema with A / V performances. He has collaborated, among others, with Modelab (models for architecture) and Noeltan Film Studio (film production).

Pierluigi Laurita aka Pj, a sound enthusiast and record collector, approaches the world of DJing in the early 2000s by approaching the first rudimentary analog consoles in which human intervention was extremely limited. Over the years he honed his interest in the world of virtual sounds and the many possibilities that new technologies make available today, so that the DJ's performative and creative intervention becomes more and more akin to a real-time post-production than a simple mixing job.
