1789. The French Revolution involves and shakes the whole Europe, and lays the foundation of the world we live in. But what’s left of it, 230 years later? Elvira Frosini and Daniele Timpano, joined for the first time on stage by Marco Cavalcoli, sharp and ruthlessly ironic, are once again ready to explore and unmask the Western culture, its symbols, its rethoric. Final goal is the very essence of its founding myths. Past and present, French and Italian history, modernity and postmodernity overlap on the stage : our "democratic" lives and our idea of revolution are questioned. Is a revolution still possible? What kind of revolution? Isn’t it anything outdated, belonging to the 20th century and closed into an other time, another History?
